Lauren is now officially a big girl. I was looking at her hair this morning and I decided that I couldn't take it anymore. It was way too thin and no matter what I did it didn't look manicured. So my mom and I and a bunch of cameras took Lauren to get her "first" haircut. We went to a kid place in the mall so that she would be distracted by the t.v's and the car she got to sit in. I told the woman that I wanted a bob with bangs to make her hair look thicker and healthier. Lauren did great during the haircut. I thought she may try and get out of the car but I think she liked it (the sucker helped too:)) When I saw her hair falling to the ground I thought "what am I doing!", but once it was done it did look a lot better. I had to laugh when it was done because it looks like the perfect haircut for a mischievous 2 year old. The first thing Lauren did when we got home was run to her mirror and combed her hair into a knot..but it was much easier to fix with this new do :)

Chloe's On the Go!

We are pretty sure we can officially say that Chloe is walking. In the last week her couple steps have turned into walking across the room. She has a ways to go yet since she hasn't figured out how to bend her knees when she walks..pretty funny. I am hoping by the time the weather warms up she will have mastered the art of walking since the last few times we were outside Chloe was crawling around eating dirt and stones. In the meantime we will be dealing with lots of bumps and bruises:)

Can you tell she has a sister?

These are some pictures of Chloe's latest interests. Yep, she learned from big sister how to climb up onto the fireplace. I am going to have gray hair soon! She also grabbed a bottle the other day and was trying to feed the baby with it. I was shocked. She still gets a bottle and she is feeding baby dolls bottles? I got a laugh out of it.

The best phone ever
I just wanted to quick let everyone know that we have the best phones ever and I would highly recommend them. They are the Vtech phone. We just bought a new set when we moved because we like that they have several bases that you can place around the house and they are all cordless. Not only that.. you can push the intercom button to call each headset..this comes in handy when I'm lazy and need Steve to bring me something:) But the reason why they truly are the BEST phone is they can get submerged in a bathtub and still work! You would think that Lauren was the cause of this but really it was me I hate to admit. Steve went to go play poker with some friends so I decided to relax in the bath and as I was gathering all my gossip magazines the phone slipped into the tub. Why the phone was between the magazines I have no idea. I thought the phone was toast but after a few minutes of drying off it was as good as new. I'm sure this is the first of many times that this phone will be put to the test!

Were Expecting..

A niece or nephew that is! My Sister-in-law Anne is pregnant and we are so excited! She is due at the end of September and we can't wait to meet the little one. They gave my parents these tee-shirts to tell them which I thought was such a cute idea(The grand kids call them Bama and Papa). Non of us caught it at first until Ron and Anne started laughing. Ron and Anne you will be great parents!
